Hey,
I am an open minded person who wants to see the world. I study mechanical engineering and will soon finish my master degree.
There are so many places i haven't been yet, so many cultures i don't really know and so many experiences to make. At the very end of my studies i finally managed to do a semester abroad, from Germany to China. It was quite a culture shock with almost no knowledge of Chinese language, but I would definitely do it again! Now half a year of work and travel in New Zealand is about to come, i am very excited. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about CS during my studies in China. I think it's not just a possibility to stay cheap during travelling or to return the favour. For me it is more the possibility to meet different cultures, share experiences and to have a good time together.
Traveling is is not just walking around and see interesting things as some do.

Interests

Of course technical things, discover new places and spend time with people. And of course I like traveling. One of the best things is to eat local specialties. It's always exciting to try something from a different cooking style. But i don't like bugs and similar things.

I like listen to music, go into the awesome nature and cycling.

Although i don't do it regularly, but writing my blog during travelling is quite some kind of fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During an internship my boss asked me in the morning whether i could imagine to fly to sweden to deliver an important part. 6 hours later i was in the plane to sweden for a two day trip.

Go to China to study chinese in Huangshan, make new chinese friends and see an awesome country.

Teach, Learn, Share

During my studies i had the chance to get the certificate of instructor for apprentices as i like to explain others and to teach. I wonder how I can use it later on.
