Hey there, I'm a 21 year old student traveling through Southeast Asia. After finishing high school on March 2015, I passed the exam as an ambulance man and started to work for the Red Cross in my hometown until packing my backpack for Asia two month ago. Back home, I have been living with my parents and my brother in Bad Dürkheim. It's a little town between hundrets of wineyards in the beautiful region of Palatinate.
Our Rieslingsschorle is very famous. If you stay at my or one of my friends place, you will try the delicious mixture of white wine and sparkling water for sure. Yes, there are Germans who prefer drinking wine rather than beer. :) In summer, there are many wine festivals which are popular for all generations. Besides wine homemade sausages, soups, black bread, fried potatoes and the famous Sauerkraut are offered.
My favorite activities are running, rock climbing and bouldering. On weekends, I often have a beachvolleyball match with my friends for fun.
