Hi,
My name is Toby. I’m an 18 year old German currently on a Working Holiday in Canada. I appreciate this opportunity to get to know a culture and land so different from my own.
To me, it is very important to get know the people of the place I’m visiting, even more so than the landscape ‘sights you need to see’. That’s why I would love to do some couchsurfing while I’m here in Canada. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: seriously anything. I’m very open to a lot of stuff and love to explore (from hip hop to pop, to rock of all decades, to dance and EDM, to jazz even at times)

Movies: superhero movies, classic action or adventure movies, dystopian movies, but also historic dramas and sometimes anime (both movies and series)

Books: I gravitate towards fantasy but also classics from time to time, non fiction (for example on history) and self help, read some anime occasionally as well

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew to Lagos, Portugal on my own when I was 10 years old to visit my buddy from primary school and then did the same thing again in Greece one year later.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: German as my native language, French (8 years in school)
Learn: I would love to play the piano sometime, also a variety sports (specifically outdoor sports) I find very interesting
Share: Guitar, can play by notes but not really by chords
