I am 20 years old now and l like traveling a lot. After I graduated from High School I took a gap year and spent half a year in New Zealand. Then I flew with my friends to Vietnam where we stayed another 4 weeks. Since that big adventure the world is calling me and I wanna reply. Last year I took up my studies in process engineering in my home town Dresden, Germany. Whenever I have free time, I try to leave that city and go out. I am more of a nature loving dude and I try to think global, but act local, concidering that I am willing to save the nature and fight climate change.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am new to couchsurfing, but not new to traveling or hitchhiking and making friends out of strangers. Leaving your comfort zone gives you a certain feeling of adventure, but in a very positive way. Indeed, couchsurfing (especially in combination of hitchhiking) is a very good way to do three things: First get in touch with locals and feel the culture and intensity of life, secondly travel climate-orientiated and third naturally save money.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favourite music genre is probably rock. Especially bands like Imagine Dragons, Thirty Seconds To Mars or The Script are awesome.
Books: I like fantasy and Sci-Fi. For example Percy Jackson or The Swarm.
Movies: Especially movies to think about are my favourites, but also comedies naturally.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

If we might meet somewhere with cool mountains around, do not wonder if I am gonna climb one of these mountains in the middle of the night to get the very best spot for a wonderful sunrise.
This way I have seen probably the most beautiful things in my entire life. I can highly recommend that.

I can offer two things: Either an open ear (I like listening to people's stories, to animals, to music.. I like listening in general) or telling stories of myself. Otherwise I am a high-energy person, who likes to be active. Still one of my favourite hobbies is philosophizing and enjoying the moment.
