ABOUT ME

I grew up in Paris, speaking English and French at home. I've lived in the UK for a couple of years and lived and traveled in Australia and Mexico. I would say I like talking about all the subjects imaginable, and joking about the most absurd things, improvising, and reflecting on the curiosities and incomprehensibility of life.

PHILOSOPHY

I think generally life implies learning, forming close friendships, gaining and trying to diversify your approach and your experiences, being curious, passionate, finding ways to transcend reality, being conscious, finding humor in the smallest of things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted people at my house in Brighton in the past, I've gone to couchsurfing meetings in different cities where I was staying to meet other couchsurfers and participate in its ever growing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've travelled around Mexico, the United States, Czech Republic and France and stayed with wonderful people.

Music: I'm a bit of a music nerd I must admit, I like simple but not too straightforward melodies, lyricism, a bit of romantic nostalgia, different sonic palettes, complex and intelligently written songs.

Reading : "L'etranger" Camus, "On the road" Jack Kerouac,"L'ecume des jours" Boris Vian, 20 years after, 1984, Farenheit 451, Black swan green, Tolstoy, Chekhov, Kafka, Harry Potter has to be my guilty pleasure though.

I can help you improve your spoken or written french or english,

I can teach you different rhythms and music theory on the guitar, I can teach you a few basics on singing technique and piano chords, and if you really want to get into it deep how to record and produce music on the computer

I can teach how to use the manual mode on your camera and give you advice on film making, framing a picture/shot, video and sound editing.
I've worked in Permaculture and fixed a couple of things before so I can offer a hand with anything construction handywork orientated.
I'm not such a bad cook I like cooking vegetarian, even vegan food (more of a challenge), salads, sauces, desserts.

I would like to learn more about sculpture, building or creating with my hands, permaculture, farming, improve my portuguese, italian and many other things....

I would be happy to share anything I can from the section above. I usually like to cook a meal for my hosts, or buy some food, a bottle of wine. I can give you some good tips for places to check out in the countries I've visited.
