About Me

Only last minute requests, and only until Wednesday (July 29nd), as I'm moving out.

I've hosted CS guests in Budapest for 2 and a half years, then my life changed completely and I found myself in Asia, where I spent the year 2013. Now I'm working in London and want to resume hosting, as it was awesome to host travellers in Budapest.

I'm different than other London hosts because once I accept your request you have a couch for sure. During my years of hosting I had to cancel only once (!) and even then I made sure my guest found another host before his arrival. The guest is highly dependent on the host, so I'm always responsible with my guests. On the other hand I ask you to try not to cancel, it's very frustrating to accept guests, make sure they know all the important information, adjust my schedule so we can meet, decline other couchsurfers, and then have the couchrequest cancelled last minute, or the guests just don't show up. This happened to me with more than half of my accepted guests in London and I'm getting tired of it. This is the reason I'm mostly accepting last minute requests now, it's less likely to get cancelled. If you find another host, then say something like "we found another host, but in case it doesn't turn out, we'd like to stay with you", I'm totally fine with being your backup host, just be honest about it. This was a long rant, but these cancellations are getting really frustrating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think I'm addicted to hosting.

I have hosted 42 surfers in 2010 (since aug. 7). In 2011 54 people surfed my couch (I could host only for half a year). I stopped counting after this, in total I hosted more than 100 guests in Budapest. Now I'm working and hosting in London.
