Hey Welcome to my CS page,

My name is Tobi, 23, from Germany. I graduated this year from the International Business School in Groningen and currently looking for a job. Before starting a ordinary life, I would like to see more of the World. I have many stories to tell about my stays in India and Finland. Additionally about the Interrailtrip and some short vacations here and then. But I am interested to meet new people, get new insights into cultures and tips about local specialities are highly appreciated.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I was only hosted once during my time at the Olympic Games 2012. Thanks to Robert, I have a remarkable time in Eton. The experience made me believe that couch surfing is a way to meet and an interesting way to engage with people. There is undoubtedly no better way to receive insights into cultures and cities than by locals. But also

Interests

Jogging, rowing and other water kind of sport belong to my interests. I discovered the new functional sports Freeletics. I was sick of going to the gym and register for clubs. It is even worse if you are travelling or move a lot Besides that I like to drink coffee with friends and catch brand-new movie at the cinema.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically I like to hear any kind of music. Everything that has style, rocks has a nice beat is welcome in my ears. (Foo fighters, Rammstein, David Guetta, Offspring, and those that a running up side down in the radio)

I like to watch Hollywood blockbuster but also thrillers that keep you thinking. (Inception, Avengers, MIB, Hunger Games, Star Wars)

Since I read my first fantasy books I like to read fantasy books in which I can leave the reality and jump into new adventures. ( hope that sounds not to nerdy=) (Twig, Rook, Harry Potter)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most awesome thing I have done so far is the Interrail tour through Western Europe. Started in Oldenburg, Germany to Barcelona we visited beautiful city such as Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Cassis and La Rochelle. And of course Barcelona. Camping and living out of a back was the best experience.

In addition to that I have lived for 6month in Chennai, India. For me it was a special period as I experienced for the first time a developing country. The spirit and especially the drive of the people to achieve something big was exceptional. Travelling through India I felt the country and visited amazing places: Golden Temple in Amritsar, the Taj Mahal in Agra, and Gods own country Kerala.
