ABOUT ME

I'm see myself as a laid back and relaxed person who gets along with all kinds of people. With an open, critical view on life I find it important not to be judgmental. I enjoy playing and teaching volleyball when i'm not working at my dayjob at an health insurance company. My friends are practically family and I see them often to hang out and play a game or do whatever fun thing we can come up with. My goal is to experience as much as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life needs to be lived. It's too short to just sit and watch it go by. I try to live by the moment and grab every chance of a good experience that comes on my path.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in this project by being open to anyone. You can always knock on my door if you want a place to sleep, a good conversation and who knows, maybe friendship. I won't hesitate to help you with problems in any way I can. Just as I would like from other members in this society. I think this project is all about meeting new people and being open to new experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago I had some couch surfers over at my boat/house in Utrecht. It was good fun! I look forward to meeting new people and creating some good stories for this spot on the website!

Sports, culture, psychology, politics, history, music, films and the list goes on. Next to volleyball I practice mountainbiking, cycling and rock climbing and I try to go snowboarding once a year.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I participated in a project to collect money to fund research on the Duchenne disease. We had to find at least 2,500 eu worth of sponsors and then mountainbike 780 km through forest and mud in one week. It was the single most tiring expirience I've done so far and I crossed my physical line many times but came out very happy. Altogether we collected an astonishing 452,000 euros

I might be able to share some knowledge and skills about music, bikes, sports, Dutch culture and biology. Furthermore I love to discuss my vision on life and living as well as that of others. I particulary love to learn about other cultures than my own and spanish language. But everything is welcome.
