About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live forever... or die in the attempt.

ABOUT ME

I've already met so many amazing people through couch surfing and had so many great experiences! Let's see, about me... I grew up with two hippy parents and it has rubbed off a bit. I was home schooled until 6th grade and instead of learning my times tables my parents read me Yeats and Rumi and anthropology books.
I don't like the word "whatever".
I love waking up to the sound of rain.
I love good food, good drink, and good people to share them with.

PHILOSOPHY

There is more going on here than I'll ever understand. I'm just enjoying the ride.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a CS member since 2006 and since then I've gotten to meet, travel with, and be hosted by some amazing individuals. Right now, I'm living in NY and I'd like to give back a bit of the incredible hospitality I experienced while I was traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm an old time supporter of crashing at a friends house on a long road trip or visa versa. I did a three and a half month trip through Europe and used couch surfing very extensively.

Interests

Theater, writing, progressive political activism, music, travel, meeting new and exciting people, the outdoors, exploration (all sorts and forms), a good night out with friends or just sitting at home on a rainy day with a cup of hot chocolate and a good book.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've done street performance in Mexico during the International Cervantino Festival. I've had the lights turned out on me on at the bottom of a cave in Germany and had to find my way to the top with a book of matches. I've lived on a ship for 8 months in the Caribbean. I've fallen in love (I think that's pretty amazing).
