Hello my name is Toby, I am 23 years old and am currently travelling from Australia (where I have been working and living) to France (my family) with my girlfriend Lucie. I have spent a lot of my working in hospitality, but my real passions are exercise, ethics and philosophy.

I'm on couch surfing because my girlfriend and I would like to travel back without using planes and trains, therefore we will need to spend quite a few nights along the way and as we all know it can be very expensive in some places. We are both people that are always looking to help others and that is exactly what we plan to do along our trip.

I believe that there is a song for every occasion so I am interested in all types of music. For example when I study I prefer to listen to classical music but if I'm exercising normally something with a bit more beat. unless I'm trying one of my own planned workouts, where I will use calmer music to focus and use the exercise as a form of meditation. I have a great love of film especially that of horror films because for some unknown reason I like to scare myself. I enjoy books that are fact and fiction but tend to read that of fact as I use books as a resource for knowledge and to gain people perspectives on life and certain ideas.
