My name is Toby Roney, I am 21 years old, ginger and from Cambridge, UK.

I wouldn't say I am your 'normal' kind of person... One example - over the last 2 years I have saved up the money I earnt to buy a van. So here I am, 18 years old with enough money to either buy a lot of computer games, a tonne of alcohol or a gaming device, but no, I decide to buy a van. I didn't buy it for work or anything, I bought it to live in... Over the last 5 months I have converted my van into my little home. Admittedly I can't afford to live on the road all the time, so most of the time I am parked up at my parents. I could sleep in my bed in the nice warm house, but no, I decide to live in and sleep in my little van. I really want to try and have a simple life, I would love to fill it with experiences and loved ones, rather than 'stuff'.

I really want to experience the world, not through tourist sites, but through the local community. I don't want to be that plain boring tourist that doesn't explore the real community.

I love 'travel music'/ music with acoustic guitars in.
As love reading when I find that perfect book - I have found that I can only read fact books though, like autobiographies as I like to relate to the authors.
I love watching films - my favourite, films with travel in.

I have walked/ cycled the length of the UK starting in just my underwear for charity. I managed it in 19 days without spending any money and got everything from food, the bikes, clothes and accommodation for free.
