ABOUT ME

I'm a exploration geology student at cardiff university a course which provides alot of opportunity to explore the outdoors and travel the world. I am an avid mountaineer and rock climber and a self confessed adrenaline junky. I've fallen for the hitch-hiking bug; whenever the opportunity arises for a long hitch somewhere exciting I'm off! I reckon I'm a very friendly and happy person,but you can judge that for yourself. I love meeting new people and rarely turn down the chance to do something new!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf if I'm travelling, host if we get personalised written requests and depending on if my house mates mind. Would love to get more involved with the cs community events around cardiff this year...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed many fantastic couches as I travelled up through Europe this summer. Saw how much fun and pleasure the hosters got out of it so hope to host myself give back the kindness they showed me!

Music: abit of everything, always up to hear new things. Indie and rock to jazz. I'm into Drum and Bass/House music and will give most electronic dance music a listen. I find it hard to resist a night out raving, the more odd ball the event the better! I also enjoy a chilled open mic night and a pint. Festivals: Reading '09, '10, '12. Bennicassim: '11. Parklife '13 Glastonbury 2013 Bestival '13!!

Books: I am currently reading: The Constant Gardener. I have read other books.

Movies: I'm pretty easy to please I like most films.

*living in cardiff with the most awesome people over the last couple of years.
*Ice climbing in Scotland.
*The sunset of the first night I slept under the stars in France.
*Herding a family of grizzly bears with a helicopter in Alaska.
*Taking a bath in a freezing stream ~100 miles from any civilisation on the Seaward Peninsula.
*Motorbiking along the ho chi minh trail in Vietnam.
*The three of us hunkering down in a two man tent drunk in a lightening storm while hitch-hiking to Morocco.
