CURRENT MISSION

Combining my drive to seek adventure and the need to affect positive change in the world, I lead world-class expeditions that are leveraged to create significant and sustainable social impact. I believe in the power of collaboration, and seek out parters who are passionate advocates for social causes.

I am currently preparing to lead the Walk The Congo Expedition, the world's first attempt to walk the length of the 2,920-mile Congo River.

In 2007, I founded a school in Kenya - Flying Kites - in 2007 and have spent the majority of my time since then helping to build the organization. I founded and led the Kenyan Everest Expedition, with the goal of getting the first Kenyan climber to the summit of Everest. Two unsuccessful attempts with a third attempt planned for 2020.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not saying its going to be easy, I'm saying its going to be worth it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Can normally host in Colorado. Will look to surf when I am travelling. Love to meet people with different outlooks onlife. Always enjoy have points of view very different from my own!
