Some of the things I like most include art, town planning, urban design, playing basketball, geography, the decade that was the 90s, learning about places, cooking, researching and discovering things, being culture-shocked, travelling solo, deep sea creatures, growing vegies, drawings by David Shrigley, space, reading books, hanging out, drinking beer, playing UNO, watching docos, fun times with friends & laughing.

Books... 'The Catcher in the Rye' is a GREAT book... kills me every time. It really does. Other ones I like: Richard Flanagan - 'Death of a River Guide'. Herman Hesse - 'Siddhartha'. Charles Bukowski - Post Office'. David Suzuki - 'The Sacred Balance', John Kennedy Toole - 'A Confederacy of Dunces'.

Music...pretty eclectic tastes, some of which includes: Wire, Pixies, Health, TV on the Radio, RJD2, Tool, Flying Lotus, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Grinderman, Gang of Four, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Faith No More, Mike Patton, Tomahawk, Bonobo, Beastie Boys, Black Mountain, Amon Tobin, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tom Waits, White Stripes, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Prefuse 73, The Fugees, The Specials, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, MF DOOM, My Bloody Valentine, Justice, Tom Tom Club, Talking Heads, Clams Casino.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is probably the only tv series ever that has held my attention long enough for me to watch it all.

Backpacking around Turkey (and getting lost in places I'd never heard of) on my own was excellent.

Trekking through Tiger Leaping Gorge and up to Shangri-La county in Yunnan (China) was also excellent.

Staying overnight at the top of the holy Buddhist mountain, Emia Shan (Sichuan, China), was epic.
