I'm trying to find a place to stay in Istanbul this summer whilst I look for work.

ABOUT ME

Hi my name is Todd. I am 21 years old and live in England.

I like to talk to people and enjoy human interaction. It's why I decided to become and English teacher.

I am a qualified teacher of English and i am coming to Istanbul in September to teach in a school. I'm looking for friends in Istanbul. I'd be happy to help you develop your English skills.

PHILOSOPHY

It's not what you believe its what you do that is important. Our differences don't matter it's how we treat each other that does.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I cannot host anyone at the moment because I live with my parents. However if you are in my area I would be happy to meet you and be your guide as I love meeting foreign people.

When I move to Istanbul in September I will consider hosting people depending on the accommodation I acquire.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In March I traveled with a friend who is on couch surfing and we stayed with a Dutch family in Sassenheim. I had a great time and this inspired me to create my own account.

I read a lot so it's hard to just name a few books as my favorite. I started reading sci-fi but now I also read a lot of classic and world literature. My favorite foreign writers are Leo Tolstoy and Naguib Mahfouz.

I've been to the USA, Canary Islands, France and Turkey. My sister used to live in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne and I worked for her in France during the summer.

I am a qualified English teacher as I have already mentioned. I can teach you English.

I have also been a surf instructor in the past, so if you can find a surfboard and a place to surf I can teach you.
