ABOUT ME

I'm a very passionate, music-loving, foodie who after 30+ years of living a traditional life, quit my job to travel asia, australia, new zealand and japan this year. The adventure has been amazing so far and I am learning more about myself this year traveling than in my whole life.

PHILOSOPHY

Be yourself, live everyday like it's your last (I know that's cliche but it's important), and treat people the way you want to be treated. Life is too short to get upset over little things - enjoy every moment you can. Take chances!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My wife and I have couchsurfed in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. We had such amazing experiences we are now ready to give back and host surfers here in Brooklyn, NY.

Interests

Music, in particular concerts in NYC and abroad. I've seen so many shows and can't get enough. But since I've been traveling, I really just enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also love to scuba dive, ski, play poker and ride my bike. I have recently gotten back into reading a lot since I have been traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Free-falling 60 meters into a canyon in New Zealand was definitely terrifying/thrilling. Nothing like feeling you're going to die for a good few seconds!
