ABOUT ME

I'm taking a professional break from life as a construction engineer working on a wind farm site in Northwest Iowa, USA. I have lived in many states in the US, as well in New Zealand and Mexico. Now I'm just a guy living from a backpack and a bicycle.

I've developed a passion for cooking, cycling, running, and live music, although I'll converse about anything. I'm curious to learn firsthand about the world, as it makes me happy to explore unique places with friends old and new.

PHILOSOPHY

There's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing.

Everything in moderation, including moderation.

Jumped in the North Sea from a relative's deck on a Norwegian island. Climbed out just before the jellyfish swarm.

Volunteered in a school in Oaxaca teaching and generally assisting with daily activities. The kids and families were wonderful!
