ABOUT ME
I'm living in Germany and working as a barkeeper, so I'm used to listen to interesting stories and meet interesting people. But it fascinates me, that every person has a very own story to tell. So I'm curious to hear as many stories as I can. I think, it's very important, to get as much impressions as possible, because they can teach us a lot. Sometimes I wonder, how much people are captured by their own.
Most people don't see the bee, that lies on the ground, but the bus, they need to catch to be in time.
But the smallest things sometimes are the greatest.
(And I know how the wind blows, for I'm 166 cm tall)
I'm really looking forward for my own Couch-Surfing experiences.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's good sometimes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I did an interrail tour through Europe this summer (2012) with two friends of mine and it was really great. After that, i'm confirmed in my idea of couchsurfing as a wonderful insitution. I met people, who had a really small flat and not enough space for everyone, who wanted to stay at their place, and still, they tried everything to give everybody place for at least one night and were willing to share the smallest things. If people with more material capacity had the same heart capacity and generosity, as people I met with help from couchsurfing, a LOT things would be better in world.
All my experiences were positive and I'm very thankful for that. I traveled through six different countries and it was interesting, to see the obvious and not-so-obvious changes in mentality, behaviour and so on. For that, it was really useful, beeing that close connected to members of other cultures.
Without couchsurfing, our journey would've been impossible and a lot less impressive.

Music, Movies, and Books
The movie, who impressed me the most: Natural born killers. Could talk about this movie for hours.
I'm into good movies.
Kubrick, Coppola, Eastwood, Guy Ritchie, Tarantino.
Or the creepy, sneaky, weirdo way: Oliver Stone, David Fincher, Lynch...
My second Love: Music. I'm playing guitar and piano, and i love jamming. I'm visiting music festivals, like summerjam, Fusion or Hurricane.
I like rock, reggae and nearly all kind of music.. at the moment it's jazz, last year it was rock.. so, i think, there's no need, to stuck only in one kind of music, if there's the possibility of so many other options, like music guarantees.
Though, there are very impressive musicians and bands for me (to name only a few of them):
Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Manu Chao, Yellowman, Wu-tang Clan, Groundation, the Clash, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, MC5, Bob Dylan, the Who, the Black Keys and so on, and so on.
T.C. Boyle. He's brilliant.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my birth.. was quite exciting.
And I saw some marine phosphorescence last year all by myself at night in Netherlands. This was really amazing.
I sat there with some wine all alone on a bay and suddenly the water under my feet began to glow. I stepped down and walked through the flat water and with every step there was a bright lightning around my body. It was fantastic..
