Hi everyone! I've accomplished my life-long dream of getting laid off from work, so I am traveling the Eastern Hemisphere indefinitely. My travel goals are witness natural beauty, stay physically active and meet great people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people who share similar interests as I travel. One day, I hope to host once I establish a more permanent living situation.

Interests

I'm a master-of-none, in the sense that I love novelty and trying new things, which makes nailing down my interests kind of tough - I'm easily entertained. I love admiring contemporary / modern art and dream of spending more time creating if I ever stay in one place long enough again. I love pottery and painting. These days, my focus is traveling so I'm mostly looking to make memories doing things I love like hiking and meeting interesting people from around the world. I enjoy discovering local culture & cuisine and trying to pick up phrases in the local language.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really a super-fan of anything in particular and can enjoy most movies & TV, with a preference for witty comedy. Music depends on the activity (anything but country and metal, sorry!!!) I'm a sucker for chick-lit audiobooks and dabble in non-fiction philosophical reads.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most recent amazing adventure was a caving expedition in Phong Nha, Vietnam. Prior to that, probably hiking Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal :-)
