ABOUT ME

I was born in China, grew up in Shanghai and Florida. I love traveling and being active in general. I play sand volleyball, soccer, and just started learning how to snowboard. I like to socialize, ex: enjoy good food with good company, but I also like to spend time alone, like reading (everything from the Wheel of Time to the New York Review of Books). I've taught English abroad and worked at the Florida Museum of Natural History for a year, pinning butterflies and categorizing moths. But my life's calling is to study epidemiology and work to improve public health.
