À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

To have fun in & around Rio de Janeiro!

ABOUT ME

My friends give me a variety of nicknames. I have thick skin and like to laugh. I also like hiking, reading, and FOREIGN LANGUAGE. Travelling's not too bad, either.

Live life fully. Dance. Laugh whenever possible. Dance again. Repeat as necessary.

PHILOSOPHY

Drink life to the lees. Be a participant, not a passive observer. "Go hard or go home." We should be on an unending quest to learn more, feel more deeply, and generally become better people.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None. I've met the Houston CS crowd a few times, finding them to be bright, fun, and adventurous -- my aspirations!

Centres d'intérêt

I adore learning foreign language and cultures. I'm also a big fan of partner dancing (e.g., East Coast Swing, two-step, etc). Music (playing & listening) has been a big part of my life since childhood. Hiking outdoor activities are also high on the list. Generally, I'm game for just about anything... except watching sports (I'd rather PLAY!).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Good books that I've read recently: The Human Stain (P. Roth), The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Murakami), and Grass (S.Tepper). I'm currenty reading For Whom the Bell Tolls (well, after I get back from a month in South America). :)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well, a week in the BearTooth Mountains was amazing. Hiking a big chuck of the Appalachian Trial didn't suck, either. I like the outdoor activities the most.
