About Me

Hi,

I'm Toki and I'm currently studying in The Netherlands, and during my time here I'm trying to explore as much of Europe as I can. I also wish to improve my German and if possible my French as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend told me about couch surfing and he has had nothing but great experiences, in which he has met great people. One of his hosts in France even invited me which was a great experience. I too wish to meet great people all over the world in which hopefully I can host one day. Additionally, being a student I have limited funds, and so if i can save some money by couch surfing then I prefer to do so.

Interests

Apart from my studies, I take great interest in music and drawing. I like to pay the guitar occasionally. I also like to read books, mostly non fiction, but if there's a great book that you know of then please recommend me as I'm always searching for my next read. Although I don't play as much as I used to, I can really get into long sessions of Minecraft, so if you're into Minecraft as well then awesome :D I do judo as a sport so meeting a fellow judoka would be nice. I also like to cook, as well as think that I am a good cook, but maybe you're better haha

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening mostly to electronic, rap, R&B, metal, various types of relaxing music, and soundtracks & movie scores. As for movies I really enjoy science fiction and comedies. I also really like cartoons (South Park, Rick and Morty, Regular Show). As for books, I read mostly non fiction but I've been making my way through the classic fictions over the years.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, so I'd be willing to cook you dinner at my expense. I can share my music as I have alot of it, and music sharing is one thing I try to do with new people I meet. I can also teach you basic Japanese as it is my second language. In general, any of my interests and hobbies I would be willing to share or teach if you are interested, so just ask :)
