ABOUT ME

I was born in Fl. I lived most of my life in Fl. And when I say FL, I mean all over the state. Born in Plantation, schooled in Lake Worth, Boca Raton, Coral Springs; etc. Plus I have family all over Fl. Then I met my husband from Nh while we were both living in Orlando, and now I live in Nh. I am still learning my way around. I've lived here for about 5 years and am slowly learning my way around like a local. I am just a little bit obsessed with tortoises and Tokidoki. He is live free or die (very NH). He is pretty laid back and doesn't mind the random people that stop by to crash.

We have a four year old that is the center of our universe. He is pretty well behaved but he makes me think twice about my openness in accepting guests. I just want a little bit of contact beforehand, which I believe is reasonable to ask for when involving children.

I enjoy opening my home to others and learning about their different cultures. So far, we have met many wonderful people and have great stories to share.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot host right now as my house is full with roommates and my nephew; but I’d love to meet up for a chat. I can tell you lots of things to do around here or go places with you.

I offer a couch and may take one at some point. We have gone to events in the past as well as spread the word about the world of couch surfing wherever we go. I kinda advocate for it. I love to tell people about how great it is to stay with others and how many great experiences we have had using this network. It's usually fun to gauge their shock when I say that I let strangers stay with me for FREE!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed my whole life. I used travel to places that I knew people so I could stay with them. I was told about this community and I decided that I should be a part of it. Now I stay with hosts.

i swam with sting rays in the ocean. i went to black sand beaches in costa rica. i've seen volcanoes and waterfalls. I got to see my child take his first step.
