ABOUT ME

I just moved to Tokyo and expect to be here for at least 2 years for work. Previously I was with my current employer (Manulife Japan) in their Boston office for 4 years. I was born and raised in Pakistan until I was 18 and then moved to the US (Oberlin, OH) for college.

I'm very new to this so hopefully in a year or so I'll have a lot more to say here.

Intereses

Running, camping, hiking.

Music, I play the harmonium and am always looking to play with other people.

I am a big fan of soccer, in particular of the Argentina national team, as well as Spanish La Liga. Also a fan of baseball, and my favorite team are the Boston Red Sox. I would be interested in going to see both soccer and baseball games in and around Tokyo.

Música, películas y libros

The last book I read was Pakistan: A Hard Country, which I would highly recommend if you wish to learn more about the country.

I love mountains and lately have read quite a few accounts of mountaineering expeditions in the Himalayas, especially in the northern areas of Pakistan.

I enjoy qawwali music and am a huge fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
