Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To completely immerse myself in Chinese culture over the next month of travelling!
ABOUT ME
I was born in London 1989, have lived in the UK all my life except for 2009-10 which was spent studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. Prague was an unforgettable experience - made a whole bunch of friends for life, learnt so many things about life, the universe and everything in it! It's also how I discovered Couchsurfing, and have never looked back since. I'm now about to enter the final year of my law degree at Nottingham University. I speak English and always try to learn a few words from all the places I've travelled, but hope to live abroad and learn other languages fluently after graduation =)
PHILOSOPHY
The key to life is balance. From what I've learned so far, the road to happiness rests upon good communication, self-confidence, a positive outlook, a sense of humour and an open mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Spreading word of the project to other like-minded people across the globe, with a genuine interest in real cultural exchange and establishing an active, stimulating and cooperative global community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosted by:
Susanne in Copenhagen, Denmark
Marko in Belgrade, Serbia
Until now I haven't yet had my own couch to share, but can't wait to return the unparalleled hospitality I've been shown to the CS community from this September onwards =)

Music, Movies, and Books
Crazy for music, need to read more books and enjoy watching a movie with friends.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm just about to embark on a sponsored 10-day trek along the Great Wall of China in order to fundraise £2300 for the charity Childreach International!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach
- I feel communication is one of my strongest qualities, and I'm always eager to help others develop theirs (alongside my own) either with tips on improving spoken/written English and just generally expressing oneself in what may be a non-native language.
Learn
- At the same time I would love people to help me develop communication with the people of all the places I visit!
- I hope one day to learn to seriously DJ/Produce music
- I'm very interested in broadening my understanding of photography on a casual basis
