CURRENT MISSION
Spending a final year in Yosemite National Park,
ABOUT ME
Pretty easygoing super nerd. I've had my crazy days (even occasionally still having them, too), but now I'm more of a dinner, wine and good conversation kind of person. I've had plenty of travel experience, now I'm just enjoying life without a backpack (at least temporarily).
If you want to 'surf with me that's awesome, please READ MY COUCH DESCRIPTION BEFORE REQUESTING TO STAY.
PHILOSOPHY
We'll never know for sure all the big answers, so just make the most of the time you have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed a lot and never really had an opportunity to host, so right now I'm trying to balance my karma. Plus I can't travel right now and I want to live vicariously through you. I work a lot, but I should be able to show you some of the secret wonders of the Yosemite.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Plenty. Almost all amazing. It really made my Kiwi adventure
Interests
Hiking, reading, board games, card games, seeing new things, music, live shows (especially bands and comedy), doing fun things in ways that others haven't done them before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The sunset over Red Peak Pass in the back country of Yosemite National Park. True isolated bliss.
Teach, Learn, Share
After a great Couchsurfing experience with a Canadian in Wellington I now brew beer, which I really enjoy. I also am attempting to design some board games as I play so much I figure it's about time I made my own.
