My name is Tom Boerman, and i'm from Leiden, the Netherlands.

I've been skating half my life and everything kinda revolves around that. I love nature and traveling. I'm a outgoing and outspoken guy who loves to trade stories and jokes. I like all sorts of music, talking about life and to do random stuff. If you dare to go out with me you have balls of steel. I usually end up in a hospital or some other wierd, unexpected place. But it's always worth it :p

This summer i'm doing a eurotour. Helping to organize, set up and mainain the safetey of downhill longboarding events.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and I LOVE the idioligy behind couch surfing. Show me around your town. Tell me your stories and let me listen to your music! And if you have pets, let me pet them! Take me to a shitty snackbar and let me order what you always have. Show me the place where you had your first kiss or show me where you passed out once. Take me clubbing and lets dance untill we can't dance anymore. OR... Just let me shut up and sleep on your couch :p

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As shown in my profile picture. I am part of Skate United. A NGO organization that uses skateboarding to help refugees find a healthy way of escapism. This started out with Aron (my best friend), James Kelly (multiple world champion downhill skateboarder) and some other amazing people. We did a bunch of sessions at multiple refugee centre's across the netherlands.

Other than that I work for various good causes in the netherlands.

I'd love to make myself usefull in and around your home. I'm all about trading services and that kind of stuff. I would also love to learn german!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to skate, blow 'O's with a cigaret or teach you some stupid dutch words. Other than that I can give you some shitty life advice and some stupid jokes.
