I am an Australian who grew up in Canberra. I worked for the five years up until last January with a Solar PV company. Having had enough of that life I wanted a big change. I therefore decided to throw myself into the deep end and find work in Germany. I’m currently learning German in Freiburg while starting to look for work as a Photographer, in the green tech industry and generally loving life!

My favorite travel experience to date, involved spending two and a half months hiking my way through Patagonia. The mountains, the forests and the (at times) the remoteness were amazing.

Personally I’m generally quiet and respectful but I do enjoy a good laugh, chat and a few drinks.

I’m on Couchsurfing to experience a new way traveling. Meeting locals and with local incites that I wouldn’t otherwise get.

Intereses

I like to travel to wild places and explore new cities. I also love meeting new people being spontaneous, listening, learning, eating, drinking, partying and generally being open to new ideas and experiences.

I enjoy all things outdoorsy in particular hiking, camping, rock climbing, downhill and back country skiing. My interests also go to cars, motorsport, technology, architecture and gardens.

For the last 8 years I’ve been a keen photographer with my favorite subjects including nature, adventure, sport, automotive and event. It is both my hobby an occasional job.
