Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet other people ofcourse. I love meeting new people and learn about their culture, habits and lives. Locals also have a unique insight and relationship with the places they live in and you discover thing about that place you wouldn't otherwise discover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Travelled the world for six months after I quit my PhD
- Finshed a 100 km hike in 18 hours (continuously) without any preparation

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you the very exotic (ahum..) Dutch language. My French is OK, it used to be my second language but it has become a bit rusty over the years.

I'm interested in learning any language. Food is also a big interest of mine. I would very much like to try your local cuisine and try some local drinks. And tell me about your travels, so I know where I can book my next trip too :).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to think I'm an ok(ish) cook. If you want, I can prepare some typical Belgian dishes. I can give you a very long list of beers you should definitely try, in case you would every decide to visit Belgium.
