About Me
Hi everybody! I'm Tom. My goals are:
To feel truly ALIVE.
To challenge myself and grow stronger.
To see and appreciate all the beauty in this world.
To seek new experiences and adventures.
To make every day count!
I am experimenting with a somewhat unconventional lifestyle at the moment. My idea is to travel and work temporary jobs in different places for a while without "settling down" in one place. So far I've worked in South Dakota, Arizona, Colorado, Washington, Louisiana, and Taiwan. It's been AMAZING and I recommend this kind of lifestyle to anybody!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While on an adventure, Couchsurfing is quite the adventure in itself! It's so fun and rewarding to meet friendly locals; I believe it can truly enhance any travel experience. It's an amazing way to break down cultural barriers and meet people from all over the world. Eventually, when I have a place to call my own, I'd love to open my doors to fellow travelers and adventurers passing through.
Interests
For a long time, my main interest was running. Now, it's adventure!
I've also been spending time teaching myself Mandarin Chinese. It's really fun!
Music, Movies, and Books
My inspirations: Jack Kerouac, Henry David Thoreau, Albert Camus, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Henry Miller, Christopher McCandless, Aron Ralston, Batman
