This hasn't been updated since I joined Couchsurfing. It's now the end of May of 2023 It still a bullseye description. :)

So, d in short, my name is Tom. I'm on couchsurfing because my house is figuratively always open to people. In Dutch we call this "koffiecultuur" (coffee culture). In English it would mean that neighbors would visit each others houses unannounced just to talk to each other and drink a cup of coffee. I'm strongly in favor of a culture like this. Anybody is always welcome in my house, so why not take it to an international scale? :D

I'm a local, and a kind of alternative guy. I won't be able to point you to the best clubs in the centre, but I know where you might find an "illegal" outdoor freeparty where they play obscure high BPM electronic music. I'm not all that much about small talk, but if you want to go deep and disect reality and put it together again and have some philosophical conversations, count me in.
In short: chill guy, 420 friendly, open friendly host and possibly couchsurfer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To offer people a place to stay when they're in a city they barely/don't know, as I know how tough this can be. And above all, to show my guests a side of my city you'd not get to see quickly on your first visit.

I now live outside of, but still close to Amsterdam. A short walk and 15 minutes by train will bring you to the central train station.

I've never used Couchsurfing to stay somewhere myself, but who knows, maybe I'll come bring positive vibes in your hometown soon :D

Interests

I love making and listening to all kinds of trippy electronic music, mostly high BPM stuff. I will take you to a party with quite atypical sounds, but I guarantee you, you'll feel right at home <3

Anything electronic, preferably high-BPM, trippy electronic spacenoise.

I like to make music/fiddle around with electronic sounds, mostly darkpsy and tekno, but I also dabble in drum n bass, breakcore, and many more electronic subgenres

But also metal/hardcore punk and the like. I have a very nice setup for my sound in my apartment, so come on over and check it out
