While writing this I'm nearing the end of my first big trip. Three months of traveling through Cuba, Colombia and Puerto Rico. For me the most important and fun part about traveling is meeting people from different countries. That's the main reason I decided to create an account on this site.
The other reason is that I'm when I get back in The Netherlands I'll start the 'residency' part of my medical studies when I get back. I won't have a lot of time for traveling, and even if I do I will have to do so on a shoe string budget (because the residency is unpaid, yet very busy).
Anyways, I am looking forward to the next time I get to travel and maybe meet one of you guys! (Because I live in a shared student house I can't open up my couch, unfortunately.)
