Overview
About Me
I live to travel. I have traveled in 60 plus countries some by bicycle and many on a motorcycle. I enjoy all of the standard outdoor pursuits like mountain climbing, scuba diving, snow and water skiing, mountain biking and off road motorcycling. But for some reason I really like to study languages. I am finishing up my masters in modern language and am currently working on French.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hotel travel is not very interesting, hostels are more fun and you meet interesting people but are often too noisy to get good sleep. Couchsurfing seems like an efficient and interesting concept for exploring the world and meeting interesting like minded travelers.
Music, Movies, and Books
All I listen to are language learning programs. All I read are language text books. But I do like a bunch of movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one thing??? Well, I rode my motorcycle from Dead horse Alaska to Ushuaia Argentina. I don’t know if that was amazing but it was great fun!
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I teach? Just about anything and if I don’t know it already, give me a few days to learn it and then I could teach it. What to learn? Oh so much and more than can every be attempted. Share? Decades of experiences traveling the world by sailboat, bicycle, motorcycle and on foot.
