Overview
About Me
I'm Tom, born in Freiburg, Germany, 20 years old.
Right now my girlfriend Amelie and I are on a world trip for seven and a half months!
In this time we will travel through India, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, Hawaii, California, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Cuba and New York.
We started in January and will be back in Germany around August.
When I'm back in Germany I'll start studying economies in a dual system but for now we want to explore the world and get in touch with new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For now we never used Couchsurfing. I didn't even knew what it is till a friend of mine came back from a big trip and told me about it.
He was talking about new friends he meet and the possibilities he got because of Couchsurfing. At this moment I started planing a world trip and created an account. For now we didn't used it because we were able to catch up with friends of our families or found new friends without the use of Couchsurfing.
It was always the best time of our trip when we've been somewhere and got to know some people to show us around, have a little talk while drinking coffee or chai, give us tipps or sometimes have a place for the night.
Every picture and every person in it tells a story. We want to share the stories with you if you're interested and hope to hear your story as well.
And who knows but maybe we can create our own story together...
