Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently on a year-long trip around the World and have begun to grow frustrated with how little you really learn about a place when staying in hostels. I know that when I return to my home town in Oxford, I will be an active Couch Surfing host and cannot wait to show people around the city I was raised and still love today.

Interests

I have many interests, I love to play music and was in a band for a few years before travelling. I love going out to see live sports matches and music concerts, and I enjoy socialising with my friends and family. If you have any questions about me, please don't hesitate to ask.

Top 3 favourite movies are Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump and Toy Story! My favourite books of recent times are the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. My favourite music artists are Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Ben Howard and Matt Corby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Uganda for a year working to improve local education through sustainable volunteering projects. I made some incredible friends, learnt some invaluable lessons about life and collected some unforgettable experiences that I love to share with anyone who is interested.
