My name is Tom and I am an aspiring Games Artist trying to set up a Games studio with a group of friends. I just recently moved down to Brighton and would like to meet some new faces and see what Brighton has to offer for a 22 year old Northerner that likes to boogie, socialise and be creative.

I would consider myself a jolly soul and I love to joke around and see the funnier side of life. I always try to be open and genuine with everyone I meet.

I like to think I am a bit of a Yes-man and try to take up as many new experiences as I possibly can. I also try to be more impulsive and spontaneous... (although trying to be spontaneous feels a bit like a Catch 22, like trying not to try).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to Brighton and I would like to make some new friends, explore the city and integrate myself in the culture a bit more. My friend recommended couch surfing as a great way of meeting new people and gaining new experiences.

I play guitar and sing and could provide a few pointers and tips to any aspiring players and musicians. I could also show you some of my artistic practices like how I would make a video game or animation.

I could also give you some of my philosophical opinions and viewpoints and in turn would love to hear yours if that is a topic of conversation that interests you.
