About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just started a new life, and trying to travel and meet new people :)

ABOUT ME

I am originally from California, went to school in Pennsylvania, and I just accepted a job in Columbus Indiana where I currently live. I moved to Columbus in September, and I recently bought a house (I was fast to commit, I know), and it has been taking up most of my free time on weekends and after work. There's always something to fix! Recently I've found myself stuck at home most of the time, which is why this website seemed like a means to get out of town and meet some new people! I am an outgoing, friendly, and personable dude who loves to find something new and interesting to do (I tend to be the one in my group of friends that makes things happen). I joke around a lot, usually making myself the brunt of my jokes. My humor isn't too harsh and blunt, but don't take anything I say seriously :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just joined, so none yet.

Interests

I am a musician, mainly a bass player, but I can also play drums and keys or whatever. I love to jam any chance I get and I produce a little bit as a hobby. I am an outdoorsy person as well. I was an avid surfer when I lived in California, but I also snowboard, mountain bike, and anything that I can have fun doing outside. I am still in the college mindset, so on the weekends I love to go out with friends to bars and have a good time. I haven't been to once recently, but concerts and music festivals are a lot of fun, so if there's something going on in your area let me know!Besides that, I am always interested in trying new things, so if you have something in mind, let me know what to bring!

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally like any music that makes me bob my head. Right now, I'm in an EDM (electronic dance music) phase, but I always love finding new artists!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My mom used to be a flight attendant, and I was privileged to be able to travel with my family on her benefits. I've been to Germany, France, Italy, and the UK and I have been to Hawaii 7 times. I was young when we went to Europe, and from what I can remember, I really enjoyed it. I have to say that my favorite place was Ke'e beach in Kauai. It was late in the day and we were going to head back to the hotel, but I really wanted to see the sunset while we were there, so I convinced my family to drive to the most western part of Kauai. It was low tide and the wet sand looked like a mirror, making the sunset look twice as big. It was definitely a postcard picture moment and definitely one of my top 10 moments.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to work overseas for a year or so and I'm not really sure where yet, but I would like to learn another language. I'm always trying to improve my musical skills as much as possible as well.
