About Me
Sometimes here, always somewhere.
Sometimes tourist, always traveller.
Sometimes just myself, always human.
Easy going and friendly person with ironic sense of humor.
90% traveller, 10% tourist, 100% optimist!
I am passionate about Balkan and Caucasus region. Hopefully I'll manage one day to succeed touring all former Yugoslavian republics and go further towards Caspian Sea. This winter I am planning my lone trip to the Balkans during March. I am starting in Warsaw going down to Ljubljana, probably Zagreb, Sarajevo, maybe Belgrad, Skopje and Sofia, and then either Tirana, Podgorica or Bucharest going east. Who knows, maybe I'll be somewhere around the corner next to your place so we can have a beer together and chat a little bit? Convince me to change my route and I'll be delighted to do so! :-)
When couchsurfing abroad I always strive to be as much self-sustainable as possible and not to cause any unnecessary costs or efforts for my kind Host. I carry my own sleeping bag with me, clean sheet, towel and I buy my own food so I would cost you almost nothing. Well, maybe except a smile and a bucket of warm water only. ;-))) If you kindly accept my short presence at your place and you're able to share some space under your roof - I would be absolutely grateful for your disinterested help!
I love to socialize with people I meet and to spend time together with them on talking, having a meal or a good local beer. However, if you are a busy person or even kind of introvert type, please don't worry at all as I absolutely do not require 24/7 "babysitting". I am not here to mess with your life and waste your precious time so you don't have to worry and feel obliged to be my tour-guide, cook or sponsor. On top of socialising I just love blind-touring new places and discovering interesting things just by myself.
I always treat people exactly the same way as I would like to be treated myself, therefore using this philosophy on daily basis for every single enemy you make, you always gain at least thousand friends. Sooo... do the maths! ;-) Having friends and happy life is the only thing that matters in this crazy world these days.
Btw. If you wonder why my couchsurfing profile is still not verified, the answer is simple. It won't be! I find this method of so-called "verification" completely unacceptable. The only thing that 50 euro proves and verifies is that you have 50 euros, and not that you're a decent man and not a psycho with a chainsaw. ;-))) I would rather give this money to a hungry person than support paid memberships called for some reason "verification". Come on, couchsurfing, I am sure you can do better than that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Love to travel and meet interesting people. Willing to experience new countries, new cultures, new places, new tastes and even new smells! :-) I find this website extremely helpful with such wide database of friendly, eager and helpful people that live almost everywhere you reach. Previously I had some good travel experiences with "Hospitality Club", but these days it's no longer useful for some reason. Hopefully here I could find some precious moments with valuable people so I encourage you to give me a chance to be either your host or your guest, wherever you come from or wherever you live! :-)

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me your language and I will teach you mine. Show me your kitchen and I will make you mouth watering specialities, sometimes using just one carrot, mustard and a fridge light... ;-) Because of what I do, I can easily teach you basics of photography so you'll be able to make even better photos. Well, let's say I'll show you some useful hints so you'll be able at least to avoid the shitty ones! ;-P Studio, portrait, product, landscape and even astrophotography.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I can share with my Host? A good and positive energy, a meal, a beer. I can teach you Polish, English, Russian or at least walk your dog! ;-) When I am a host I can share with you my home and help you feel comfortable visiting my town.
