This summer, fellow couch surfing member Sam Reddick and I are setting out to hitchhike across Canada as inexpensively as possible, whilst pursuing adventure anywhere it takes us. Along the way we're hoping to have some days that we can take a break from our tiny tent and catch up with running water and a roof over our heads. I spent 36 days paddling the Pipestone and Winisk rivers in northern Ontario, It was one of the most challenging and amazing things I've ever gotten to do.
