I'm an American who got bitten by wanderlust when I was young and haven't looked back since. I'm fairly well traveled, though I'm always looking to add to the list of places, experiences, and people that make this addiction so rewarding. My passion is in marine biology and conservation, and I am currently studying for my masters degree with the Erasmus Mundus program. I'm new to couch surfing, but adventure is calling, and I've never regretted heeding that call. I just moved to Ghent, and I'm hoping to meet some locals while I find a place to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd rather be a traveler than a tourist, and in my experience, the best way to get to know a place is from the people who already do. Hoping to meet cool locals willing to share their love of the places they live, or are willing to help enable my travel addiction with space on their couch.
