Hi! I'm Tom. I'm in my early 30's, and I was born and raised in London, UK. I'm the youngest of 3, from a family of 5. I have traveled to many places, but mostly just short holidays, or trips abroad for work purposes. I am fun, well-mannered, and very easy going!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A while ago a friend and I decided to embark upon the classic American road-trip. We reached a point in life, where it was 'now or never' to do something like this. It means putting down a career that I've worked very hard on for the last 10 years, but that will always be there - experiences like this are worth so much more. We will be traveling round the USA for 6 months, from April 2019. However a trip of this size and length, will be expensive, considering the location. I heard about couchsurfing and couldn't believe such a thing existed. An opportunity to meet grass-roots Americans, make great friends and experience their culture first hand, along with potentially saving money along the way during our adventure...it's a no-brainer!

Quit my job and started a 6 month road trip around the United States. It’s already the greatest experience of my life! So many different people and subcultures spread across a huge land mass of often stunning landscapes. It keeps getting better.
