I'm pretty relaxed and calm, very optimistic and positive even in the worst situations, so if a shark is eating me alive there's a good chance I'll be thinking how wonderful it is the shark got to eat something and won't starve. Honestly, just a simple person who loves to experience and try new things and meet new and interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am moving to Helsinki permanently from Australia for a change of scenery, to try something different and because the country is an amazing place. Looking to try and find some people to get up to crazy shenanigans with, cause mischief and have a great time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music, but particularly listen to pop, metal, synthwave and trance. I suppose I'm a big fan of concept albums and anything with a story behind it. Some artists Avantasia, Deltron, Epica, Perturbator, Kylie Minogue, Lasgo and more...

My favourite movies would be Gataca and The Fountain, I like things that show the human condition and inspire, or just simple hilarious action films, looking at you Crank/Crank 2.

As for books, I'm not much of a reader, I guess I like some scifi and some fantasy such as The Expanse or the Kingkiller Chronicles. Otherwise educational books are nice to read for learning sake.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Managed to sneak my way into a car show in Brussels with a friend and score free champagne and photos with some cool prototypes of cars.

I'll just mention here since I'm not sure else where to put it, I already have a place to stay and would just be interested in meeting new people either as a one off or to make some long term friends in a new city :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm friendly, kind and patient. I am a decent cook, for both omnivore style food and vegan food. Nothing fancy, just mainly healthy options for all different people. I'm also more than happy to clean and help around with chores and anything too, it's the least I can do if I'm visiting.
