Overview
About Me
A current 3rd year MSci student at the Univeristy of Southampton, UK. I'm an avid traveller, having recently studied abroad in Bergen, Norway for half a year. I have also travelled solo to Cambodia for a two week volunteering trip in 2016. I'm also a keen competitive swimmer, having represented the university and my home city in multiple regional and national competitions across the UK. I am PADI advanced open water qualified and want to expand my diving experiences in different countries. I have two jobs at the moment, being a qualified lifeguard and a bartender in a concert hall.
I am relaxed, outgoing and loves meeting new people and gaining new experiences around the world. I enjoy learning new things and hope to expand my knowledge by travelling the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently looking for places to stay during my time in Bermuda in June 2018. I will have just recently finished a course at the BIOS Research Centre. There are five of us who will be staying after the course but are willing to split up for accomodation purposes.
I am also on here to ask for advice on the best places to explore, dive and go to in Bermuda so I can fully experience the island.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am currently reading "Adventures of a Young Naturalist". I love to watch all types of movies and tv series, which does not help when being a full time student! My taste in music is quite dynamic and I like to listen to various genres. I guess it is dependant on how I am feeling and/or if I just want something on in the background.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2016, I travelled to Cambodia by myself to volunteer within a fishing village for two weeks. I was part of a team full of people from around the world. I built coral reef pods and a water catchment system, as well as taught English to the village children! I was also able to obtain my advanced open water PADI qualification during my time there. The charity I did this with is called Reach Out Volunteers, which you can see in one of the photos I have put on my profile.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am willing to share my experiences from travelling and my time in Norway. I will talk about anything I have learnt during my university degree and love learning about other people's experiences and travels. Something I've learnt since living surrounded by people from all over the world is there is always a unique story to tell and I am all about hearing it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am willing to participate with any chores, whether it be cleaning, shopping, cooking etc. I'm never the type of guy to sit back and be a burden, if someone needs help with anything I'm always ready to do so :)
