About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To sooth my itchy feet!

ABOUT ME

I am an honest person with a big heart. I like to have fun in life, but I also believe in working just as hard and giving back to this world. I have a great sense of humor and I'm a pretty laid back individual.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard play harder!

I believe in being honest and impeccable with your word.

I live to explore this country and world.

I live to meet new people.

I live to learn and try and better myself as well as those I love and care about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For anyone I might be potentially staying with: I like to cook, I'm pretty organized and I have no problem cooking, cleaning or doing what I can to help out!

Interests

I am an outdoors man that loves people, culture, music and travel. Love to fish, hike, xc-ski, canoe, climb, random adventure, shenanigans and dancing my face off!

Music, Movies, and Books

Kind of a music snob (though I never force my tastes on anyone). Love the blues, soul, bluegrass, roots reggae, old school hip-hop, underground hip-hop, Cajun and zydeco, Indie rock, oldies, early country and folk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching Machu Picchu seem to magically appear in front of me as a thick morning fog lifted from the Andes.

Working in wilderness therapy with at-risk youth. Seeing young men and women put the pieces together and start to love life.

Having the opportunity to visit and explore the Altai mountains of Russia with my college.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an outdoor educator that has a decent knowledge of the environment. I'm also handy in certain primitive skills, such as bow drilling and primitive trap making. I spent the last 5 years working as an instructor in Wilderness Therapy and because of this I am great at teaching and mediating communication and conflict resolution.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Peru, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
