About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Iran!
PAST TRAVEL
I spent a year travelling through the Middle East, through Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Iran, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Armenia and Georgia. Before that I've been all over Europe and the United States. I have also spent months in India, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
ABOUT ME
Laid back English traveller, really into music and languages, literature and film. I love to talk and debate but also know when to be quiet and how to respect personal space. I love learning about pretty much anything - everyone is interesting when you get them on the right topic.
I like the idea of couch surfing because there's nothing like seeing a place through the eyes of a local, and there's something personal and communal about the idea compared to hotels and even hostels, which appeals to my sensibility.
In terms of particulars, I'm really into house and techno music - I DJ and write about dance music so its the focus of my life in London. I also read voraciously, and enjoy talking about books and their ideas.
PHILOSOPHY
This is something I'd happily talk about for hours but find it hard writing it out on a screen. Let's talk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm incredibly sociable and friendly, I feel like I could probably have a good conversation with anyone given the chance. I'm also happy to help out around the house, I'm not a great cook but I weirdly kind of enjoy cleaning and I respect peoples space.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed with some wonderful people on my travel so far and I hope it continues!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books - poetry, contemporary American and European literature, especially 20th century stuff. I'm fairly well read and always up for talking about books or plays. Recently been getting more into modern Arabic fiction.
Music - house, techno, hip hop, funk, soul, reggae
