PHILOSOPHY

I think that everyone needs to find what makes them happy and go with it. Being confined to the structural institutions that make up society may not be for everyone, and it definitely isn't for me.

Just got into this thing through a suggestion from a person I met on my travels.

I've only stayed with one person so far, and it's been great! Look forward to meeting more people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about anything, even some country. I like watching films that tell a good story and have good character development rather than visual eye-candy. One film I really enjoyed recently was The King's Speech. I honestly haven't been reading very many books for pleasure lately, but To Kill a Mockingbird and Ender's Game are a couple of my all-time favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nothing sticks out in particular. I've spent some time in the military but I wouldn't count that as "amazing". Hopefully I'll be able to experience truly amazing things to be able to put on here.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to drive a manual transmission, and am always willing to teach the curious. I played the clarinet for about 10 years so I can teach the basics to anyone interested. My nerdy guilty pleasure is Magic: the Gathering and I would be glad to teach it to anyone, although I found that not everyone enjoys it as much as I do.
