About Me
Let's share!
Speaking as a representative of our home; we love folks who are receptive, positive, adventurous, and a little bit off the rocker. As roommates we get along very well, and even though we're all pretty busy with work and volunteering, we enjoy extending our space to kind strangers.
We've got a prime location in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg, and since we generally get requests from bikers coming from Richmond or DC, you'll be welcome to a hot shower, a comfortable place to sleep, and a safe place to keep your bikes, along with very easily accessed food/drink/shopping options.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roomies and I are on couchsurfing to help travelers out. But at a more meaningful level, how can you not feel swept away with making these deep human connections to folks just by sharing an evening or so?
Most people like to stay to themselves; strangers avoid eye contact on the metro, and sometimes the most polite way to interact with people you meet on the street is to move aside as they pass- but if you want to see a world with more compassion you've got to do your part to make it that way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music? Americana and Alternative/Indie. Molly and I add to our record collection every week; as a group we've driven far and wide to see Hurray for the Riff Raff many times, but there's always something playing in the house.
Books? We have so many books everywhere- lots to share, lots to chat about. I didn't think one could have too many until I moved a few times and realized how much weight they amass.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nighttime treked Hawksbill Mountain and Dragon's Tooth. Crisscrossed the country a few times. Watched C-beams glitter in the dark over the Tannhauser Gate.
