About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling South America. Headin north up the Andes with a rucksack and Rich.

ABOUT ME

I am currently having a break from working 9-5, so have quit my job and set off backpacking around South America. So far I have been around Brazil - Rio, Manaus, Salvador, Iguassu; and am now in the Andes of Argentina, soon to be heading to Chile. I am travelling with my mate Rich who I met at Notts Uni some years ago.

I enjoy whitewater kayaking, and most other things outdoorsy to be fair. I like cars....drive a battered old Austin Mini Mayfair when she´s working. I enjoy most kinds of music....the best being live and in a pub. I love all food and ALL drink!! except maybe coffee!! definately getting a taste for Vino Tinto though now!

We are travelling South America very much on a shoestring, but are out to enjoy ourselves to the max and meet some cool people and see some awesome things. The trip is taking us all the way up to Equador where we will sadly be headin back home in early July.

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun, see the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Amazon Jungle. Spent 2 weeks living with an indigenous Indian tribe to help build a house. Spent my time hammering, macheteing, fishing, cooking. The place was georgeous and the people were amazing. A place that I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that flame grilled Aruana, caught with a spear through the head, is the tastiest fish in the world?
