My name is Tom, and I live in New York City with my wife, Alejandrina, and with my son, Zack.

I'm happy to be a part of the Couchsurfing community, but I am not an active member, so please excuse me for my profile not being too detailed.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in Couchsurfing as an occasional host.

We don't host guests very often, but we have hosted guests in emergencies, when guests aren't able to find anyone else to stay with in the NYC area.

My son, Zack is an active member of the Couchsurfing community, so he is the one who has taught me about how Couchsurfing works, and I'm just learning as I go.

**I want to stress the fact that we don't host very often, so please make sure that you write to other potential hosts in the NYC area, as they are probably more likely to say 'Yes' to your request.**

Please only write to us **if you have an emergency** and need a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights, with 2 nights *being the Maximum Stay.*

There is no guarantee that our family will say 'Yes' if it is not convenient for us to host you, but we promise you that we will read your request and your profile very carefully.
