ABOUT ME

I'm a funk soul jazz hiphop drummer from Auckland in NZ. I have 6 albums out, done 4 international tours. Sometimes I write tunes, and piano is my first instrument, although I don't play it live. I've got a 16 channel recording studio at home based on Logic. Current bands are The http://www.triptonites.com/ and Bryson Campbell (too new to have a website). Previously I did some work with Breaks Co-op and some other fairly underground NZ bands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like the idea of Couch Surfing, especially the fact that you know you will either meet a local if surfing or meet a traveller if hosting. You can be sure that Tourists / Travellers are appreciative and open minded. I used to work at Stray Travel which is a backpackers bus network in NZ, its way better than Kiwi Experience (our competition).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a brother sister duo from Germany, and a girl from Malaysia so far. So far it's been great and definitely will be hosting in the NZ summer from Nov/December I would say!

I'm into time based media: music, animation, computers. Love complicated scientific shit. Try to understand how the world works. Find everything so fascinating and interesting.
